The Technology Core provides cutting-edge sample processing, biobanking, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) capabilities, facilitating high-resolution analysis across all SCRIPT² Projects and Cores.
Key activities of the Tech Core include immunophenotyping, cryopreservation, and advanced sequencing techniques such as single-cell RNA-seq, CITE-seq, T and B cell receptor clonotyping, DNA methylation analysis, metagenomics, and deep pathogen sequencing. These technologies enable detailed characterization of epithelial and immune cell subsets, pathogen dynamics, and molecular interactions.
The Tech Core is structured around two primary aims:
- Immunophenotyping and Biobanking: Using flow cytometry to profile immune cells and cryopreserve samples from bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL), nasal curettage, and blood for future analyses.
- NGS and Assay Execution: Performing pre-designated NGS assays and cytokine profiling, guided by input from the Projects, Data Management and Bioinformatics Core, and Modeling Core.
